What kind of items can I donate to Heather's HandUps?

We accept items that you would typically find in a thrift store, not to be confused with a junk store. All items must be in very good condition. Contact us for an appointment for a drop off!

When and how can I drop off donations?
Contact us to ask if we need the items you would like to donate. We recommend scheduling an appointment for drop-offs to ensure we can properly receive your items.

How do my donations help Heather's HandUps and the community?

Donations help cover the cost of keeping the business open. 10% of all sales are donated, via voucher, to the local community action agency. We aim to help local families in need. Additionally, unsold donated items are distributed based on need to various local programs, including nursing homes, schools, daycares, senior centers, and emergency drives.

Are there any items you prefer not to receive?

We do not accept items that are broken, damaged, excessively worn, or too heavy and large for typical thrift store resale. Please ensure all donated items are in very good, re-sellable condition.
